Sustainability and the eco-footprint associated with purchases is a hot topic for consumers. Sustainability matters to UK buyers and organizations need to pay attention. A survey of 1,500 UK buyers showed that consumers seek greater transparency on sustainability and the impact their purchases have on the environment from businesses.

How much? So much that 62% of consumers would reconsider their purchase if retailers better communicated the environmental impact of delivery. And…47% of consumers would pay more for upcycled materials. Transparency matters. Businesses must listen to what their buyers are asking for. It’s good for the environment, but also ensures a better customer experience for a win all around.
