Spring 2026 Release: From Complexity to Control

March 24, 2026

Inriver’s Spring 2026 Release introduces AI-powered enrichment, visual workflows, and new syndication APIs to scale product operations.

Product information management is more complex than it’s ever been. There’s more data, spread across a wider range of source systems, handled by a greater number of teams, and required by an expanding range of target channels, each with their own requirements. At the same time, regulations and buyer expectations are rapidly evolving. The result is constant growth in the burden of complexity for PIM workflows.

Inriver’s Spring 2026 release responds to this challenge, delivering AI-powered efficiency, orchestration intelligence, and ecosystem reach.

Inriver is built to absorb the complexity that breaks other PIMs—so you can scale SKUs, channels, markets, and requirements without multiplying manual effort, rebuilding processes, or losing control.

Here’s a quick breakdown of what’s new and what it means for your business.

AI-Powered Efficiency That Powers Smarter Workflows

This release includes a number of AI innovations that go beyond simple content generation, to make a real difference in your day-to-day workflows. They accelerate content enrichment, make it easier to maintain quality at scale, and reduce manual effort.

New AI capabilities available in the Inriver PIM

Here’s what’s new with Inriver Inspire:

For manufacturers managing technical documentation and compliance certifications, these tools mean faster content creation and time to market, without sacrificing accuracy.

For brands managing large catalogs across regions, it means consistent messaging and correct data at scale, without the manual copywriting burden or technical bottlenecks.

Speed and Transparency in Your PIM Workflows

When product information workflows rely on custom code, they become slow and expensive to implement and almost impossible to troubleshoot. The Spring Release includes a visual workflow builder and real-time workflow insights that overcome both these challenges.

Build and monitor smart workflows with drag-and-drop simplicity and real-time visibility

Product managers, compliance officers, and commercial teams can now design complex automation – including autonomous agentic AI processes – without coding skills or IT dependency with our new visual workflow builder. Embedded AI agent actions, drag-and-drop configuration, conditional branching, and real-time triggers make even the most sophisticated enrichment and approval processes accessible to everyone.

New workflow insights give you real-time visibility into exactly where work is in progress, where bottlenecks are forming, and how processes perform over time. For manufacturers coordinating engineering changes, regulatory approvals, and multi-tier distribution, this transforms workflow management from reactive firefighting to proactive orchestration.

At the same time, a new evolution of the Inriver UI helps your teams work with more speed and focus. The modern, intuitive design not only guides users to work more efficiently, but it’s also been architected to support additional AI agents over time, giving you a gateway to continuous innovation without disruptive platform changes.

Connect to more channels with ease via new syndication APIs

The channels where your products need to appear keep expanding—and so does our syndication ecosystem.

New direct API connections from Syndicate Advance to major retail channels

We’ve added four direct API integrations from Syndicate Advance, enabling you to syndicate product content to major North American retail and B2B channels. Reach Home Depot, Perigold, Walmart, and Wayfair with built-in validation that prevents rejections and accelerates time-to-market.

We’ve also expanded our Amazon integration to cover both first-party (1P) vendor and third-party (3P) marketplace syndication across all global regions. For brands selling on Amazon through multiple models or markets, this unified approach eliminates separate workflows and keeps product information consistent across every Amazon touchpoint.

And following the Shopify adapter launch in autumn 2025, we continue adding capabilities that enable richer storefront experiences and faster synchronization for direct-to-consumer brands.

Share product information without the distribution headaches

Many manufacturers and brands already rely on Inriver Brand Store to share their accurate product information with dealers, distributors, resellers, and internal teams. Brand Store’s PIM-connected, digital storefronts give stakeholders self-service to the latest product information, avoiding the effort and version control chaos that typically follow if you try to share data via email attachments.

The Spring Release makes it even easier to manage your Brand Store portfolio at scale.

Our updated Brand Store admin interface streamlines storefront configuration and user management with guided workflows, bulk actions, and advanced template-building.

For manufacturers supporting extensive dealer networks or brands managing distributor portals, Brand Store eliminates the errors and delays associated with manually servicing information requests.

The updates also make it easier to share information with internal stakeholders. Sales teams, marketers and partners get instant access to current product specs, pricing, assets, and documentation—accelerating sales cycles and cutting operational overhead.

Automate data onboarding from any source

Inriver’s Content Onboarding capabilities now cover two of the most common intake challenges in product operations: structured data from connected systems, and unstructured content from documents.

For connected systems, new API connectivity enables automated data imports directly from upstream PLM, ERP, supplier portals, and partner feeds — no manual file uploads required. Inriver’s intelligent onboarding layer uses AI-based data mapping and validation to catch quality issues at intake, before they cascade downstream.

This creates a single, governed intake layer for manufacturers reconciling engineering data from PLM with operational data from ERP. For brands onboarding content from multiple suppliers or regional teams, it means faster synchronization without custom integration overhead.

As for document-based content, new unstructured data onboarding lets teams ingest content from any format — PDF, Excel, Word, or PowerPoint — directly into Inriver. AI-powered extraction, transformation, and intelligent field mapping do the heavy lifting, while a final human review step keeps teams in control before data is committed — eliminating manual document searches, reducing copy-pasting, and scaling accurate content onboarding without slowing time-to-market.
