Solution description

Our connector is built to allow for seamless, near-real-time synchronization, dynamic field mapping, and full product and category management from inriver. By using a modular approach, the standardized core can be extended and adapted to fit virtually any workflows and customer-specific needs.

Knowit provides a simple yet extremely versatile connector for one-way product data synchronization from inriver to the EPI platform. The connector uses an intermediate storage in a separate database for the data send from inriver; this way information is not lost from inriver during server downtime. Errors encountered during imports are put back to the queue flagged with error for admins to easily investigate, while the connector continues with the next item in the queue.

The connector ships with an admin interface viewable via Optimizely that is used to setup and manage the connector. The interface also provides an overview of the log messages that are created during an import, the interface also includes a filterable overview of all imported CVLs (key and value) for every language handled by the connector.
