With such a large product catalog, keeping product information up to date was a challenge. E-Commerce and Catalog operations needed the latest product stories, yet the data was often siloed in many different systems and departments.
Wehkamp began their search for a system to meet the company’s needs for nextgeneration product information management. Using inRiver PIM, they could bring all of the product information into a centralized location and also integrate it with XSARUS Digital Commerce and a supplier onboarding solution. The company also leveraged external data pools and master data to enrich product information.
With an integrated technology portfolio, including PIM, the company is able to speed time to market and produce optimal catalog segmentations. Employees are also more efficient and the barriers between marketing, sales, IT and commerce have been reduced.
