Customer spotlight story: Varner

Read how Varner implemented inriver PIM so all product data - to support product and store launches in all markets, languages, channels, and e-commerce sites - could come from one source.

Varner is one of Scandinavia’s leading textile companies, with close to 11,000 employees. There are 1500 stores in eight countries: Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Poland, Germany and Austria. Varner is comprised of the concepts Bik Bok, Carlings, Cubus, Days Like This, Dressmann, Dressmann XL, Urban, Volt, Wow, Levi’s Store, and Nike Store.

Challenge

Before integrating a product information management system, the company had eight different websites with data sourced from their Episerver website content management system. Because of their growing size and expanding product portfolio, it was difficult to sell into other markets and channels efficiently.

Solution

Inriver helps Varner streamline the flow of product information, making product data accessible to sales and marketing employees across their regions and across functional areas. Inriver is integrated with Episerver CMS, Episerver Commerce and M3 ERP solutions, providing much needed automation and optimized workflow.

Result

Now all product data to support product and store launches in all markets, languages, channels, and e-commerce sites can come from one source. The newly integrated solutions now enable better collaboration between the company’s marketing and technology departments.
