The inriver to Bynder Connector creates a real time synchronization for assets stored in the Bynder DAM Solution to inriver PIM. Whenever an asset is uploaded or a new version updated in Bynder it will automatically be synchronized to inriver Resources and linked to the appropriate entities. Using inriver and Bynder as PIM-DAM combination gives you the best of both worlds: having a full featured DAM solution seamlessly integrated in a full featured Product Information Management solution. The connector runs as an inriver extension and connects to the Bynder API and has many flexible configuration options. Setup, support and maintenance (if needed) are provided by inriver’s platinum partner XSARUS.
Solution highlights
- Based on inriver PIM, no need for extra infrastructure
- Trigger based import from Bynder to inriver using Bynder’s notification service (a job is provided to be able to manually perform a synchronization on initial setup)
- Configurable filename filter (regular expression based) to determine if new assets should be synchronized with inriver
- Automated resource creation with the option to set certain values based on the filename
- Automated linking to configurable inriver entities
- Metaproperties (from resource or linked entities) can be sent back to Bynder, for example, to be able to search on product information within Bynder
- Asset usage tracking information is sent to Bynder so users can see where the asset is being used within inriver and the user is able to deep link to the Resource in inriver
- An Enrich / Plan&Release HTML Template is available to display the Bynder asset on a tab in inriver, including a deep link to the asset in Bynder
