Oras Group, a leading provider of sanitary fittings, aims to streamline its product information management to communicate its products consistently in all channels and markets with the help of inRiver PIM.
Working with two leading brands, Oras and Hansa, Oras Group has a complex product portfolio of about 5000 active products, where each product has about 100 add-ons and spare parts. To manage this, and to make it easier for sales and marketing, Oras Group decided to streamline information management processes and consolidate all the product information into a user-friendly system that focuses on ease-of-use and supports information enrichment for the product teams.
Wanting to manage the product information efficiently and in-house, Oras Group planned to have an efficient process that also provides full transparency within the organization. The aim was to have country representatives in different markets access the full product information on each product easily. Oras Group also wanted to support company’s marketing, ensuring that the information used was always up-to-date and most suited for marketing and sales purposes.
Selecting inRiver PIM as the system support for this transformation, Oras Group asked inRiver partner Tieto to implement inRiver PIM and a feed of product data from the ERP and PDM systems to inRiver PIM, where it will be easily enriched by the product and marketing teams with text, media, technical descriptions etc and transformed into rich product information for Oras Group’s markets.
