October 4, Malmö—inRiver, the leading provider of multi-tenant SaaS-based product information management (PIM) solution, is delighted to announce the elevation of their PRIME Partner, Ctac, a full-service Business & Cloud Integrator to Platinum Partner status.
A public, stock-listed company, Ctac initially selected inRiver as their preferred best-of-breed PIM solution supplier after a lengthy selection process. “We chose inRiver for two key reasons: the cultural fit and close collaboration with the sales and support teams that inRiver provides; and the business and end-user customer focus that inRiver employed when developing their PIM solution,” stated Frank Koppen, Senior Business Development and Innovation Manager at Ctac. “Our complementary services and approach to our customers makes us smart together.”
As partners, Ctac and inRiver have adopted a go-to-market approach that has resulted in several successful customer engagements over the past 18 months. Many of these engagements have capitalized on the flexible capabilities of inRiver PIM. For example, for a manufacturer of flue gas systems, Ctac has built extensions and connectors to meet difficult requirements and to enable the enrichment of product content in line with ETIM technical product classification standards. At another customer—a window coverings manufacturer—inRiver is being deployed to serve up specifications for an innovative product configurator.
The success of this partnership was acknowledged at inRiver’s PIMpoint Summit in April 2017, where Ctac won the Rising Star award for EMEA. Ctac was recognized for showing commitment and a pro-active approach with respect to the PIM market for—and delivering projects to—new and existing customers. Ctac was also accredited with embracing the inRiver Marketplace concept by building add-on modules for customer-specific solutions.
Ctac is unique in their breadth and depth of knowledge in the verticals in which they conduct most of their business: Retail, Wholesale, Manufacturing, and Real Estate. While many other implementation providers have technical knowledge in digital marketing, Ctac also has specific business and process expertise in their clients’ industry and business.
“Ctac has proven to be uniquely qualified to implement inRiver PIM due to their strong knowledge of ERP and MDM, in combination with omnichannel commerce, especially in the retail and manufacturing industries,” said Jesper Larsen, Director of Channels & Alliances, EMEA at inRiver. “Ctac’s development of the ETIM application that integrates with inRiver is also a strong competitive advantage.”
As a Business & Cloud integrator, Ctac helps customers realise their ambitions. Ctac creates the required business value through constant innovation. Ctac has a broad portfolio with solutions from SAP and Microsoft on any cloud and provides services in the fields of consultancy, managed services, projects, learning, and secondment. Ctac also has a number of its own products, including the XV Retail Suite, which consists of an omni-channel-driven Point-of-Sale & Loyalty platform. Ctac celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2017 and over the past 25 years has built up extensive experience and material know-how in the retail, wholesale, manufacturing, and real estate sectors.
The organisation has a balanced workforce in terms of age, expertise, and experience. Working together to realise common goals is a high priority for the company. Ctac is listed on the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange (ticker: CTAC) and its head office is located in ’s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. As per end of June 2017, Ctac had 452 employees. Ctac is also active in Belgium and France. For more information: www.ctac.nl.
