Originally, Würth wanted to find an easier way of producing their main catalogue, and augment the information quality of their entire product range, rebuilding the product structure to be aligned with their customers’ view.
Thanks to inRiver, the same product information now feeds the website and the catalog, and marketing teams have complete confidence in its accuracy. New products can be live on the website and ready to order in just 2 hours. Customers can order 10 times more products online than they can on a paper-based catalog, which has freed up sales reps to focus on the most valuable accounts.
Peter Nyström, Product Manager at Würth Svenska, says:
“We could only put 10,000 items into our catalog, but we have 100,000 items. We can now set up and start to sell content within two hours of it being in our range. Customers can now order direct, removing the filter of a sales representative”
