Introduction to inRiver PRODUCT MARKETING CLOUD

Course Description
In this course we focus on the basics of designing a Marketing Model in inRiver Product Marketing Cloud. You will learn how to use the fundamental tools and get an understanding of how to build a Marketing Model by using best practice examples. This training is a great foundation for anyone who needs to have an understanding of inRiver Product Marketing Cloud.

Preparations
inRiver provides all training material (no laptop needed). Voluntarily: Make sure you have access to the inRiver Community Portal. Use your inRiver Support on Zendesk login credentials to access the Community Portal via https://community.inriver.com

BUSINESS CONSULTANT

Course Description
In this training we focus on inRiver as a concept. You will learn how to build a Marketing Model in inRiver Product Marketing Cloud, and apply that knowledge to specific business situations to create a well-working Marketing Model. We walk through practical knowledge requests, like how to implement an inRiver Product Marketing Cloud  project, roles and workflows, standard functionalities of the inRiver Product Marketing Cloud Apps, inRiver clients, as well as possibilities for designing customizations.

Knowledge requirements
Having attended the course “Introduction to inRiver PIM” course, or corresponding knowledge of the Marketing Model and the inRiver Concepts. Discussions will be based on the assumption that all attendees know the content of the Introduction course.

DEVELOPER

Course Description

In this course we provide an initial introduction to and an understanding of how you work with the inRiver APIs, acquiring an “inRiver tool-box” that enables you as a developer to tackle the most common implementations that occur in inRiver Product Marketing Cloud implementation projects. Having gained basic knowledge during the “Introduction to inRiver Product Marketing Cloud “ course, this course also brings a technical aspect of how the Marketing Model works. After the training you should feel confident with being able to engage in technical discussions related to the Marketing Model in customer projects, and provide input to the technical implications of the choices in the Marketing Model.

During this course, we will cover the following topics:

•    IinRiverManager API
•    Server Extensions
•    inRiver Connect Concept
•    Inbound/outbound Connectors

Knowledge requirements
Having attended the course “Introduction to inRiver PIM” course, or corresponding knowledge of the Marketing Model and the inRiver Concepts. Discussions will be based on the assumption that all attendees know the content of the Introduction course.

SALES ENGINEER

Course Description
Do you want skilled professionals on your team? People that know how to make an excellent inRiver presentation, make the best use of the inRiver Demo environments, and have extensive knowledge of best practices from sharing experiences with other inRiver professionals? The inRiver Academy Sales Engineer training will help your team reach excellence.
 
The Sales Engineer training refines peoples’ skills on how to tell the inRiver story, not just the features - and make a really great presentation and demo of inRiver’s PIM platform. The training will provide the tools for using the inRiver concepts, values and solution for capturing audiences in meetings.

Knowledge requirements
BC certified, or corresponding experience and skills.

Preparations
Bring your own laptop. Make sure you have Power Point and software to work on Remote Desktops (for example Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection that is free to download) installed. The inRiver installation files are available on our Wiki, http://wiki.inriver.com/wiki/download-softwares

Certification
To receive a certification for this training you must make a Power Point presentation and successful demo of inRiver PIM, based on the material you have received during this training.

Sales Engineer training: €500/$565

Print Consultant

Course Description
In order for a customer to receive a desired result from an inRiver Print implementation, you will need to properly analyze the requirements, recommend the right solution and carry out a professional implementation all the way through, from the start of the project to the finished project.

Knowledge requirements
The participant needs to have knowledge of how the inRiver Marketing Model conceptual works, and understand the different enrichment phases of inRiver PIM (Supply, Enrich, Plan & Release and Publish).

Appropriate further knowledge is inRiver Business Consultant training or equivalent. Having worked with inRiver implementation projects and having experience from working with inRiver clients is beneficial. Knowledge of working with InDesign is also beneficial.

Preparations
Bring your own laptop with an appropriate version of InDesign CC installed, as well as the associated inRiver print plugin installed. The inRiver installation files are available on our Wiki, http://wiki.inriver.com/wiki/academy-downloads.
