Thomas is inRiver’s Chief Executive Officer, and brings more than 20 years of experience in successfully building and driving international business via direct and indirect sales channels.
Thomas holds a degree in Business Administration from Berufsakademie Stuttgart. He started his career at DELL Computer and broadened his experience in working for Novell, Mitsubishi Electric, and Software AG. From here he started building and running international and global businesses for datango, Aptean, and most recently ANSYS. During his career, he has held a number of VP and GM positions. He has strong experience in helping organizations reach the next level of success. Thomas brings a wealth of experience in developing and implementing go-to-market strategies as the foundation for growth. He enjoys building customer success based on business values. As inRiver’s CEO, Thomas will drive the global expansion for inRiver from the Amsterdam office.
Johan is one of the founders of inRiver and a senior business leader with two decades of experience leading international technology companies. With a strategic mindset and a passion for customer experience, he helped transform inRiver into the powerful and robust product information management platform it is today.
Before inRiver, Johan took the lead in starting new businesses and held leading positions at DDMM, Sema Group, and UDK. He has worked internationally with software development and strategy for eCommerce and content management since the mid-1990’s in North America, and across EMEA. Johan studied data communication, system development, and philosophy at the University of Umeå.
As Vice President of People, Helena Gynnerstedt and her HR team are dedicated to ensure that inRiver is the best possible place to work by providing an environment where every individual in the team can thrive and contribute to the strength of our company.
Helena brings 25+ years of experience from leading positions within HR and communications. She has worked at smaller start-up companies as well as with the largest international IT-players. Before joining inRiver, she was the HR Leader at IBM Client Innovation Center in Sweden.
Helena holds a B.A. in Business and Communication from Lund’s University.
Göran Hanshammar has over 20 years of experience in planning complex and business-critical solutions for technology organizations. As chief technology officer, Hanshammar leads the product development teams globally to drive the product roadmap, strategy, and new innovation for inRiver solutions.
Hanshammar has a proven track record in designing and implementing scalable, high volume, transaction-intense cloud solutions with complex analytics. Prior to inRiver, he was lead enterprise architect for TietoEVRY with a focus on IoT solutions. Hansammar also held CTO and leadership roles at Maingate, Syncron International, and Sema Group. He holds a degree in digital system design from Halmstad University and will lead the development team from Malmö, Sweden.
Anders Hilmansson is inRiver’s Chief Financial Officer, who excels with his energy, grit, and fascination of the SaaS business model. He leads by energetic example and teamwork is according to him key for a successful organization.
Before turning inRiverian, Anders was CFO for the largest SaaS email marketing company in the Nordics. He has a background in legal and brings key experience of M&A from his early years at Sweden’s top tier law firm. Anders holds an LLM from the University of Lund and soon an eMBA specializing in Financial Management from the Stockholm School of Economics.
Katja Dömer is chief marketing officer (CMO) at inRiver. She oversees the global marketing organization and is responsible for building the brand and creating customer demand in markets around the world.
Katja is an experienced tech marketing professional who joined inRiver in 2020. Prior to her role at inRiver, she successfully ran her own marketing consulting business counseling international organizations in highly competitive markets to optimize demand generation and brand strategy. She has held leadership roles in global software companies including SuccessFactors/SAP and Qlik. Katja holds a master’s degree in business administration from University of Muenster.
As the head of Global Services, Maria Bolmstedt is leading inRiver’s Support Team and Customer Success Strategy. Bringing with her over 30 years of experience helping to make customers successful, with over 20 years in the software industry, she is looking for new ways to enhance inRiver’s customers’ experiences and service offerings.
Before joining the inRiver family, Maria drove the execution of support strategies focusing on business management aimed at improving customer experiences in a cost efficient and data-driven manor for organizations such as Qlik and Consafe Logistics.
Maria is passionate about people, data, numbers, technologies, improvements, but most of all, she holds the highest level of importance to the value she adds to her customers’ experience.
Gauri Chawla is the Vice President of Global Partners and Alliances at inRiver. An industry veteran, Gauri has accumulated her acumen as a global business leader and growth-driver.
Prior to joining inRiver, Gauri was the head of global business development and alliances for Showpad. There she developed a technology/services ecosystem strategy, designed and launched a global team to manage sales, and drove pipeline development. In her career, she has held positions at Marketo, Oracle, IBM, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Accenture.
Gauri acquired a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University in Canada, and a Juris Doctor in intellectual property, international law, and corporate law from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University.
Steve Baumgartner is the Vice President of Global Sales and responsible for Sales Development, Sales Operations, Sales Engineering, and Account Management across EMEA and North America.
Steve brings over 20 years of direct sales, leadership, and Fortune 500 cross-functional consulting experience to inRiver. He has a proven track-record in building, transforming, and scaling sales and account management functions for VC and PE-backed enterprise technology organizations.
Steve holds a B.A. in Communications from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH and an MBA in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Jorgen is a professional board member and chairman in several innovation-driven companies worldwide such as FreeSpee, FlatFrog Laboratories, Asetek, Onomondo, and inRiver. Previously, Jorgen was a global telecom executive and held multiple international executive roles at Nokia, during the period in which Nokia was the forerunner of the mobile phone revolution. He is now a venture partner at Heartcore Capital, formerly known as Sunstone Capital.
As a founding partner at Sunstone Capital, he was instrumental in establishing fund structures, raising funds, and developing strategy; combined team efforts resulted in Sunstone becoming one of Europe’s top performing funds. He holds a degree in Computer Science from København’s Teknikum.
Johan is one of the founding members of inRiver. Prior to inRiver, he held leading positions as Project Manager, Senior Advisor, and Account Manager at Intentia Consulting. Johan holds a degree in Industrial Economics from the University of Linköping.
Hadar has several years experience from leading positions in high tech companies. He started his career at Ericsson, and went on to become CEO at CellPoint Systems, and was instrumental in founding the 3G-operator Orange in Sweden. For the past 10 years Hadar has been working with investments in new technology companies including as a partner och Sverigechef at Eqvitec. Since 2011, Hadar has been with Industrifonden, a Swedish investment company, primarily working within the areas of telecom, software and internet. He also serves as a board member in several companies.
Ray Grady is the president and CEO of Conexiom, a SaaS platform that delivers sales order automation. Grady has more than twenty years of technology leadership experience in scaling high-growth, B2B companies like Acquity Group (Acquired by Accenture), CloudCraze (Acquired by Salesforce) and Acquia (Acquired by Vista Capital). He will help guide inRiver’s strategy to accelerate company growth.
Carl-Fredrik Lindner is active as investment manager at Lionpeak AB, closely related to Walstone International Ltd. Lionpeak AB is a privately owned investment company with numerous investments in the tech and life science sector. Before joining Lionpeak, Carl-Fredrik held positions at Lenner & Partners Corporate Finance AB, and the venture capital fund Life Equity Group.
Carl-Fredrik holds a Master in Computer Science from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. He has also studied Innovation and Entrepreneurship at UCSD, University of California San Diego.
Jim MacIntyre is a serial entrepreneur with over a 20-year track record of technology innovation. He is the Chairman and CEO of Product Lab, a private incubator of technology companies. He also serves as a board member of other dynamic, high-growth technology companies, including Tealium, Optoro, and Logi Analytics.
MacIntyre was founder and CEO of pioneering, real-time visual analytics firm Visual Sciences (NASDAQ:VSCN), which was acquired by Omniture (NASDAQ:OMTR) for $394MM in late 2007. Later he served as Chief of Ecommerce Technology for GSI Commerce (NASDAQ:GSIC), which was bought by eBay (NASDAQ:EBAY) in 2011 for $2.4BN.
Pål is a partner and head of the software vertical at Verdane Capital Advisors and has worked closely with companies such as C3 Technologies, eBuilder, Newscycle and Bythjul.com. Pål joined Verdane Capital Advisors in 2007 from hitta.se, where he was the marketing and business development manager. Pål began at hitta.se in its early start-up phase and helped the company become Sweden’s most widely used online directory. Prior to hitta.se, Pål worked in other Schibsted subsidiaries, such as Aftonbladet and SvD, and was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, Stockholm.
Pål holds an MSc from the Stockholm School of Economics and participated in ITESM’s (Mexico) MBA program.
Jens Schrøder is co-founder and partner at Zobito, an investment and advisory company, and serves as chairman and co-founder at MyFitness, the largest fitness chain in the Baltic States. Jens also chairs in Barrus AS the leading producer of wood components for the Nordic window industry.
He is the chairman of the Danish digital Learning start-up Learningbank A/S. In addition, Jens was one of the pioneers in the Nordic Private Equity scene as he co-founded the Private Equity firm Procuritas and closed the first PE-fund in the Nordics in 1990. He holds an MSc in economics from the Copenhagen School of Business.
