02Integrate smarter Today most web solutions are based on old and unreliable integration methods often based on that the sending system writes files on a file system that is then read by the receiving system. This leads to a number of problems:

Instead of exporting files it respond to requests from the channelling systems, i.e. they pull the required information from the PIM system. inRiver will answer every call with the correct information in the correct format. A query from a channelling system can consist of values like brand, market, language, assortment and desired format. The answer will come back in real time with the latest approved information for that specific channel. The answer is sent as XML-messages, formatted to support the needs of the receiving channelling systems . This is a much more effective and economical way to scale, it minimises redundancy and it gives quality and consistency across channels.
